Burning Powder
I had the pleasure of shooting some old flint locks and long rifles " down over the hill" at my Dad's place. My shooting partner in the video is a neighbor friend named Daniel. He is not only a great gun builder, but an excellent pilot as well. The feeling derived from shooting these old style weapons is hard to describe. The flash of powder and delayed exchange makes it challenging to accurately hit the side of a barn, let alone a game animal or enemy.
